At CBCI Telecom we use Video everyday! Here is a great example of how you can also improve your business connections through the use of visual communications. While in Florida in between tradeshows, Dave Giguère, Account Director from our Ottawa office worked every day from Starbucks and did not lose a beat. Check out the Video intro from Dave.
Dave recorded this video by dialling into our dedicated recording bridge on the TelePresence Content Server which is part of our Video Managed Services offering. Even though he was using the public internet the audio and video recording was clear and would have made a direct face-to-face communication feasible to attend meetings even though Dave was working remotely.
Dave was always available for everyone that needed to get in touch with him. He was able to connect with his manager, colleagues as well as clients. He used the Cisco TelePresence USB HD Camera and the Cisco TelePresence MOVI software. With access to the TelePresence Content Server, I was able to download the recording, save it and upload it with some modifications, directly to the CBCI website and YouTube channel for everyone to see. This makes my marketing task much easier. I don’t need to wait for Dave’s return or to receive the DVD by the mail (with this postal strike, it would have made the process very long). This is content on the go with TelePresence!
