It is so true! We can, or should I say, businesses can no longer afford to rely on “old” technology – phone calls and emails – to differentiate itself and stay ahead of its competition. It is important to us at CBCI Telecom that our clients be informed of the following. Beginning October 1st a new Environmental Recycling Program will be launched in the Province of Quebec. This program has been active in other provinces but is now rolling out in Quebec.
This was not a very popular question from our clients about 5 years ago when I started working at CBCI Telecom. Just recently, we’ve had one of our technicians visit a client that is using a video system for 14 years. And this is not a rare occurrence, these systems have past the test of time…but do they still meet the current visual communication needs of the company? I believe that I can easily compare it to my home laptop that has recently celebrated its 8th birthday. It has received a few new parts and with the latest addition of a flash drive for extra memory and computing power it is NOT my favourite device to use in comparison to the MacBook Pro I use for work. oh! Well! I did just open a whole other discussion...
I don’t know about you, but my laptop screen is just too small to suit my needs. I now work with an additional display hooked up to my PC permanently. It provides me with more flexibility and enhances my productivity. Instead of purchasing an additional PC screen you can use your EX60 as it is HD display. It permits you to connect over videoconference and share presentation at a touch of a button or use it just as an extension of your PC display.

Interactive whiteboards have exceptionally grown in popularity over the past few years. Schools are discovering that these whiteboards are effective tools for improving learning, communication and collaboration. They offer several advantages over traditional whiteboards, which have been used in classrooms for decades to share information and ideas with group members.
We all know that communication is key for all organizations. We also know that videoconferencing is playing an important role in our everyday business communications, but how clearly do we communicate how this communication technology should be used?
As I was doing my usual research online, I came to the realization that there are many discussions about virtual collaboration and TelePresence, but that there are not many articles that bridge the gap between them. In itself videoconferencing and TelePresence are great communication tools as they bring together the participants in order to facilitate team collaboration.
